Dead Zones

Please submit your experiences.

A “dead zone” is an area within a wireless provider’s advertised coverage area where there is a weak signal and calls are prone to drop or experience dropouts. Click on the links to show a list of dead zones for the respective carrier. These are based on personal experience or reports from other people. This list does not show all areas, and if the number of dead zones shown for a particular provider is more than other providers doesn’t mean that that provider is worse overall – it just means I have more personal experience and/or reports about that provider. This list is provided to make people aware of what areas they may experience poor coverage, and hopefully the wireless providers can act on this and other information to improve service in dead zone areas.
