In areas of South Lake Tahoe and Kirkwood CA, at&t/Cingular dropped roaming coverage – then added it back – in the past week. Roaming in that area is courtesy of coverage provided by T-Mobile. This forum post (registration required) on Cingular’s forums shows how customers were able to voice their concerns with Cingular and get roaming coverage reinstated.

A Cricket temporary guyed pole on Grove Street, between Kietzke and Harvard has been replaced by a permanent and taller monopole.

A new T-Mobile cell site is now active near Stead Blvd. and Lear Blvd. in Stead – co-located on an existing monopole with Cricket and Clearwire. CID 4344x

A new Cricket flagpole cell site is now active behind WinCo Foods on Northtowne Lane in Reno. This site will improve coverage in that area and along the Hwy 395 corridor between N. McCarran and Parr Blvd.
